Antar Mouna
- The meditation of Inner Silence
Details to come
"Mouna"
means silence, with "antar" refering to the inner realm. Therefore
'antar mouna' is a technique that helps us experience the true state of
inner silence.
First
we are allowed to observe tangible things such as the external
environment and our body. Our observation then leads us to experience
the inner noise of the chattering mind. Through this technique the
inner chatter starts to quieten down until we can actually see and
experience the silence beyond the noise, the space of our true self.
To
truelly come into contact with the experience of the silent space,
gives us a refreshing and transformative view of our own inner world,
as we realise we no longer have to be at the mercy of our own thoughts
and feelings.
Antar
mouna is regarded as the first step in attaining permenant inner
understanding along the path of meditation and Self enquiry.
